It is holding the temperature well. Not sure if the day counter is working as the instructions only tell you how to reset it once you have used it. Does it count up or down. guess time will tell on that . i am trying to hatch turkey and duck eggs. It holds a total of 8 for that size eggs. the egg turner is working although it was hard to get the shaft put on the screw/post as it had a sliver of plastic that did not get cut off. We used a knife to try and get it out . Again time will tell it if it will last . when I put a humidity sensor in it , it reads 75% but if I do not put water in the holder it does not have enough , The water well could use a remake on it . Put a cap on the top so it doesn't have to be turned over to install and lose the water out of it. When I get to the point where I can tell if the eggs are going to hatch I will update this review.

I purchased this incubator based on a combination of reviews, price and availability. I had a clutch of eggs I needed to get started ASAP. Upon receipt the unit was very easy to assemble and set up. I conducted a 24-hour temperature test which proved to be completely accurate. After setting the eggs (I can't recall now but several days into incubation) the unit's display malfunctioned and the control panel would no longer accept input. i.e. temperature could not be changed and day count could not be reset. I contacted the seller and they responded quickly, walking me through a few troubleshooting steps. Unfortunately, nothing worked to correct the problem. They immediately sent me a replacement unit which is (at day 3) working properly and accurately. I would give the seller 5 stars alone for their excellent customer service. Edited to add: Replacement incubator worked flawlessly and gave me a 100% hatch.

This is the first incubator we've owned. We bought a cheap humidistat with a thermometer on it, to make sure we were keeping the right temp and humidity. We made sure we ran it a couple days to keep an eye on the temp and humidity and made some adjustments. We did a dry incubation and it worked well. It kept the humidity around 25-30%, without adding any water. As soon as day 18 hit, we added a little water to the water holder (I would not fill the water holder up, add a little in the blue base at a time). That got the water all the way to 75%. We got a 70% hatch rate on our first try, which I would call a success! This is a good beginners incubator. Just take your time and make sure you have a humidistat with a thermometer and go off that!

Our first year we incubated 2 different clutches. We went to start this year, everything appears to be working except the rotation arm. It does 180° turns which moves the eggs but stops them back where they started. I have tried everything I can think of and google recommends, but no success.

I purchased this unit to hatch quail eggs. The egg holding tray can be customized by moving the dividers to fit the size of egg you are hatching, BUT they tend to pop out occasionally if not seated very tightly. You can also remove the turning arm for the last few days before hatching. The best part about this unit is when you set the temperature, it holds to it perfectly for the duration. The part that I REALLY DISLIKE about this unit is that there is no way to accurately maintain a specific humidity. Quail eggs need 55-60% humidity for the first 2 weeks, then it should be raised to 65% for the last few days. If you fill up the attached water reservoir, it keeps the humidity at 84%. If you don't, it dips down as low as 25%. We lost 5 out of 17 using this unit. One was broken due to the divider popping out and one chick was drowned in its shell due to the high humidity. The seller refused to acknowledge and remedy the situation. Do not recommend purchasing this unit!

This incubator was very easy to assemble, and the temperature is consistent. It holds 15 silkie eggs easily and could hold more. The temperature was very easy to set. I really like the automatic turning option. I purchased a hygrometer to measure humidity, and I had a very difficult time regulating the humidity in the incubator at first. It was too high. I was able to very slightly lift one side and insert a toothpick between the top and the base, and the humidity has leveled out at 60% (a bit higher than I wanted, but the temperature has remained consistent). The only suggestion I have for this incubator is to make managing humidity a bit easier. Also, instructions were not translated into English well. I am hopeful for a successful hatch!

It works like it should! Like any other incubator read the directions & test run it before you use it to get use to it. On my first hatch I had a very high hatch rate! The only adjustment I had to make was controlling the humidity with the water fill tank. I suggest not filling the water tank up just the bottom portion. Also just adding a small sponge on the inside where the thing enters the incubator. You might want to also tilt the unit forward to stop the water from filling up the bottom inside the incubator to control the humidity level. During lockdown you can either leveling off the incubator to let more water to fill the bottom or add more water in the tank. Like all incubators you just to check it often until they hatch! Good luck!!!!!

Went down to 4 stars because the egg rotation arm was difficult to attach to the metal arm. I ended up heating the metal with a lighter and melting it in. The water tank could also be improved by making it bigger or adding a fill cap. Once we got it setup the rest of incubation is as easy as expected. Power went out and it saved the number of days somehow which was a nice unexpected perk.
