This is a good, inexpensive starter incubator. It does not include a hygrometer, so I had to buy one separately to check humidity level, and it seemed to have trouble keeping a steady humidity level. But overall I had a good hatch rate. Be sure to look up tips on hatching your specific egg types to be most successful!

This is a fun little incubator. Temp is super stable, I'm using mine in the foam it came in. Has a fan and turner. It will really only hold 8 good sized eggs. The 12 would have to be bantam. I wish it was bigger but for the price I'll probably just buy a few and be able to have different hatches going.

It works great and holds temp and moisture. The only thing I disliked a little is the plug is a little loose that goes into the machine. So when you take off the Styrofoam you have to make sure not to unplug it. Other than that it is a great incubator.

First purchase worked great for 14 days. Eggs candled beautifully, held temp, then...it died. No amount of plugging, unplugging, changing of outlets worked, it just stopped working. Boo. Lost that dozen eggs. They sent me a replacement. Yay! Worked great for the next set of eggs. All fertile eggs hatched, fabulous, we're good to go! Set 6 turkey eggs....except now the automatic rotation has stopped. Everything else seems to still be working but at 6 days in, I'm gonna be rotating eggs for the next 3 weeks by hand in hopes that the rest of it keeps working. I'll be trashing it and finding a new one for next year at that point.

The first one I received had a broken piece but Amazon replaced immediately. The set up was easy but when you take the top off to add water or do anything, placing the top back so that it catches on the egg rotator is a real pain. I have to have help with getting it on correctly. One person to put the top on and the other person watching to see if the rotating device goes into the part

No head space for chicks. Open lid and they jump out. Good hatch results.

I used this incubator to hatch 11 fertilized eggs. Only three hatched and all three needed help to get out of their shell. The third one was too weak to live past three days. It appears as though they were unable to turn themselves inside their eggs to unzip the egg after piping. I followed the instructions and filled the water trays accordingly but I think the chicks were stuck to the membranes inside so they were unable to turn. I suspect it was because of uneven humidity. There was only ever condensation on the side with the fan. I turned the unit around thinking it might be the nearby window but the condensation did not change. In addition, I don't the egg turner is effective enough just moving the eggs back and forth every couple hours. That may also be why they were stuck to the membrane. There appear to be two vent holes on the bottom tray which I do not find to be effective for air but they make it easy to spill water from the water tray when trying to move the incubator. I would rather have a vent on top where I can see it and control it. I did not have a separate thermometer or hydrometer to place inside to confirm the temp and humidity so I can't say for sure if the temp gauge is accurate. There is no humidity gauge. I also feel like the unit is too short for the chicks considering the three that hatched were small birds and it looked like they could hit their head on the heating element. Unfortunately for me, the return date passed a week ago, otherwise I would be returning this unit.

These chicks I hatched with the EZ incubator. First hatch I got 7 and 2ed hatch 10. For never doing this before was pleased to get any. It’s named right. EZ. It’s pretty forgiving cause the moisture wasn’t kept like it said to do. I would recommend this for newbies
